Colormap Editor

Parameters

Current Colormap

Colormap - shows the colormap starting with the minimum data value upto the maximum data value.

Max - Defines the data value corresponding to the upper colormap value. It is not possible to change the upper colormap value just by changing this value. This value sets the maximum value of the color legend at a suitable point. However, this value cannot be lower than the maximum data value.

Min - Defines the data value corresponding to the lower colormap value. It is not possible to change the lower colormap value just by changing this value. This value sets the minimum value of the color legend at a suitable point. However, this value cannot be lower than the minimum data value.

auto fit - Sets the maximum and minimum colormap values to the maximum and minimum data values.

Color Range
Sets the data range to be mapped into colors

min color val - Sets the data value to be mapped to the minimum (lower) colormap value.

max color val - Sets the data value to be mapped to the maximum (lower) colormap value.

color size
Sets the number of colors to be used in the colormap.

Select Colormap Type
Edits the colors in the colormap.

Colormap Buttons - Selects the colormap from 8 given patterns.

Edit Colormap - Displays a panel to edit the minimum and maximum color values in the colormap.

Reset
Resets all the parameters to their original values.

Close
Closes the Colormap Editor.
